Seventeen-year-old Mary Katherine returns to the house where she grew up after her mother died to reconnect with a father who has always been obsessed with proving the existence of the tiny people who live in the woods. Initially sceptical of her father’s theories, the resolute girl will have to reconsider things when a magical encounter shrinks her to a very small size, soon playing a key role in the battle that the tiny Leafmen – a special corps dedicated to the preservation of the forest – are fighting against the terrible Boggans, determined to destroy all forms of life.
