Yao is a child living in a small village in Senegal. He loves books and adventures. One day he leaves for Dakar in search of his myth, Seydou, a very successful French actor visiting Senegal. When meeting Yao, Seydou is struck by the child’s character and he decides to take him home. For the actor the journey, full of daring adventures and funny situations, will be a return to his origins. The protagonist of Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano’s Intouchables and Two Is a Family, Omar Sy returns on screen with his most heartfelt and touching role, on a journey back to the roots.
